Loved the article! I always point to conviction when people ask what they should buy. My recommendations would be self defeating without my conviction. I’ve learned this the hard way in the past.

well done to anyone uncovering really nice ideas in public markets. for all the above that is written, in public markets your still usually a price taker, you don't determine the market price.

SO you do all the research you like and if you agree something is a buy at a certain price and its above that, then you wasted your time. If the price moves lower to your ideal level, maybe the facts have changed too.

So you need some other screening tools or other to narrow down the opportunity set, as otherwise there are just too many public co's to analyse.
